Quebec-based Botpress, a leading platform for developing and deploying AI agents, announced today it has closed a $25 million Series B funding round. The investment was led by FRAMEWORK with participation from Inovia Capital, Deloitte Ventures, HubSpot Ventures, Decibel, and existing backers.

Solving the AI Agent Deployment Challenge

Founded to address critical infrastructure gaps, Botpress enables enterprises to move beyond prototypes to operational AI agents.

The enterprise software giant Salesforce, currently valued at $251 billion with strong financial metrics including a 77.3% gross margin, has unveiled a significant upgrade to its AI agent platform.

The new Agentforce 3 introduces comprehensive monitoring tools and expanded functionality for enterprise-scale AI deployments.

The platform now offers Anthropic's Claude Sonnet via Amazon Bedrock and introduces simplified per-user pricing models across Sales, Service, and Industry Cloud products. According to internal data, AI agent usage has surged 233% in six months, with 8,000 new customer deployments.

Salesforce continues to demonstrate strong growth with nearly 8% revenue increase over the past year. The company recently announced a 6% price adjustment for premium editions effective August 2025, which analysts view positively given added AI capabilities.

Multiple firms maintain bullish outlooks, with price targets ranging up to $400, citing potential from new products like Agentforce and the pending Informatica acquisition.

The upgrade reflects Salesforce's strategic focus on enterprise AI adoption, providing tools to manage the complete lifecycle of AI agents while maintaining its position as a leader in cloud-based business solutions.

Digits Introduces AI Agents To Revolutionize Accounting Platform

Digits has integrated artificial intelligence agents into its AI-first accounting platform, the Autonomous General Ledger (AGL), enabling the automation of entire accounting workflows like bookkeeping, financial dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting.

These AI agents only require human input when necessary, according to a company press release issued Monday (June 23).

CEO and founder Jeff Seibert highlighted that Digits was built from the ground up with AI agents in mind, aiming to eliminate the repetitive manual tasks that often burden accounting firms. “In today’s tight accounting talent market, an AI-native model helps firms scale, grow, and serve clients more effectively,” Seibert stated.

The platform’s new AI agents include:

• Bookkeeping Agent – Automates tasks such as transaction categorization, matching, and data cleanup, leaving only exceptions for human review.

• Finance Agent – Streams real-time data to dashboards and automatically identifies financial trends.

• Reporting Agent – Creates interactive financial reports complete with visualizations and insights.

In performance comparisons, Digits found its Bookkeeping Agent achieved 97.8% accuracy, outperforming 12 outsourced accountants who averaged 79.1%. The AI agent also operated 8,500 times faster and at 1/24th the cost of human counterparts.

Katie O’Brien, senior accountant at Hiline and an early user of the platform, described it as “like having a 24/7 junior staff accountant who continuously learns and improves.”

Digits originally launched its AGL in March, positioning it as an AI-driven solution that automatically categorizes transactions, reconciles accounts, and delivers real-time financial analysis.

Seibert previously noted that Digits’ AI accounting models can automate over 90% of bookkeeping tasks for small and mid-sized businesses, saving significant time for business owners and accountants.

Supporting the broader industry trend, a PYMNTS Intelligence report titled “Outlook 2025: CFOs Envision Growing Role for Generative AI in Finance” revealed that 65% of CFOs at U.S. firms with over $1 billion in revenue are already using generative AI. Of those, 71% reported improved productivity, and 54% noted better data-driven decision-making.
